We’re looking for a head coach who profoundly understands our diverse consumer and dynamic marketplace, with the main responsibility of delivering a premium consumer experience and driving strong KPI results while developing store athletes(store employees). If you understand how to drive retail strategy, policies, and procedures, and can communicate effectively about your team’s objectives and initiatives with your team, you will be an excellent fit for this role.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As a Nike Direct store head coach, you will create a store environment that demonstrates a passion for sports, Nike products, and service.
• You will lead your team with tools and resources to deliver a premium consumer experience and drive operational excellence.
• You will achieve store KPI&PNL (i.e. store payroll, operations’ expenses) and also provide coaching to help store athletes achieve their personal best.
• You will execute all directives on a daily, a weekly and a monthly basis to meet all Nike standards of procedures and policies. (i.e. visual, merchandising, markdowns, marketing initiatives, etc.)
• You will set goals for individuals and store to execute and track business action.
• You will have responsibility for communication and delivery of rewards and recognition for the store team.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You’ll mainly work with Nike store teams as well as with cross-functional & cross-channel stakeholders such as Marketing and Demand Supply Management team.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or 5+years of retail experience in lieu of a degree
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Extensive experience and ability to lead the delivery of a high level of customer service in a brand retailer
• Ability to communicate in English preferred
• Ability to build, lead and manage high-performing teams
• Ability to utilize tools to support conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling
